Two persons including a doctor attached to the Puttalam general hospital were admitted to the National Hospital, Colombo after sustaining severe injuries following a motorbike accident in Puttalam town last night.
Two motor bikes collided and both the riders including Dr. S.M.Nishantha of the Puttalam hospital were severely injured.
A shooting also took place in Pulithawasal, Puttalam where an estate superintendent was shot and injured by unknown gunmen. .
